Wheel of Time Games Snag "Talent"

I haven't made it through more than a single book in Robert Jordan's insanely popular (really, you have to be insane to like this) Wheel of Time fantasy novel series.  Partly because I only have so much tolerance for writing so Triscuit-like in its utter blandness, and partly because I only have a little over a half century left to live, so I don't have the time to finish them all.  Neither did Jordan.  He kicked it while still working on the series.

But sales are sales, and no one can blame Red Eagle Games for picking up the license.  Though you have to wonder about the enthusiasm for this series when screenwriter Chris Morgan is the best talent you can wrangle to oversee story development.  I have nothing against Morgan personally, but having Cellular, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and Fast & Furious (a.k.a. Paul Walker and Vin Diesel will "Act" for Food) on your C.V. doesn't exactly inspire confidence.  He also wrote Wanted, which wasn't a terrible movie.  Though I don't imagine the script was much longer than "Explosion.  Ridiculous bullet shit.  Angelina Jolie's ass.  FADE OUT."

Ah, who am I kidding?  It's not like Morgan can do a worse job with the franchise than its creator did.
